SAVING THE RURAL ACTIVITIES GARDEN CENTRE (RAGC)
I raised the Rural Activities Garden Centre in Parliament to fight for its future. It provides outdoor, supported work opportunities for adults with additional needs and must be protected.
STANDING UP FOR HAREFIELD'S SCHOOLS
I've written to Hillingdon Council after being contacted by staff and teachers worried about plans to merge Harefield Infant and Junior Schools. The move would mean a £159k budget cut and job losses.
DEFENDING LOCAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES
I spoke in Parliament about the importance of Mount Vernon Hospital and why we need more investment in community-based healthcare across Hillingdon.
National Issues
30 HOURS FREE CHILDCARE NOW AVAILABLE
Working parents of children aged 9 months to 4 years can now access 30 hours of free childcare.
This change will save families money and help more parents get back to work.
LEASEHOLD REFORM BILL
I introduced a 10-minute rule bill to establish an independent regulator of managing agents; set up a licensing scheme; and enforce a code of practice. This will protect leaseholders from unfair charges and poor management.
HOSTED A SEND ROUNDTABLE WITH LOCAL PARENTS
I brought together parents and carers of children with SEND to hear first-hand what works and what needs to change. Their insights are shaping how I campaign locally and in Parliament.
ABOUT DANNY
Danny was born in Hillingdon Hospital and raised by his mother in South Ruislip. During his childhood, Danny was made homeless twice, and used his experience as motivation to get involved in Parliament.
Danny has raised a variety of issues in Parliament from flooding to housing, to our struggling NHS to motorists being ripped off by insurance companies, and is an outspoken advocate for his constituents.
